The Carolina Panthers are coming off one of their worst seasons in franchise history. Carolina had the worst record in the NFL and did not even get the top overall pick to show for it. As a result, it has led to the Panthers having very low ticket demand for the 2024 NFL season.
However, the Panthers are scheduled to play one neutral site game in Munich, Germany. And you would not believe how much money tickets to that game are going for.
Munich, Germany Game Has 10x Demand of Most Home Games

So, how much do tickets cost for this game? The cheapest ticket for the Munich, Germany game is $538! Meanwhile, you can buy tickets to five of the eight Panthers’ home games for under $50.
If not for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys being two home opponents for the Panthers, you could likely buy tickets to every home game for less money than this game in Germany. Without those two games, tickets to six Panthers home games cost under $250 total on StubHub. Tickets to the two games mentioned above start at about $425 total for reference.
NFL Demand in Germany

It should not be too shocking that this Munich, Germany game is priced so highly. Last season, about 1.2 million football fans tried to purchase tickets to the NFL games played in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2022, there were tickets being sold for over $33,000 when the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers played a game in Munich.
Carolina Panthers Fans Abandoning Team?

To be fair to Panthers fans, NFL ticket demand in Germany is at another level compared to regular home games. However, the Panthers still have a big problem they need to address.
As mentioned above, the Panthers’ low ticket demand for 2024 home games is extremely notable. Quarterback Bryce Young had a disappointing rookie season, and the team could not even build toward their future due to losing their top overall pick. As a result, the Panthers have hired head coach Dave Canales and GM Dan Morgan to try to change the direction of this franchise. If the Panthers can do that, perhaps they can once again win over their fans.
