The Carolina Panthers took a heartbreaking loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, dropping their record to 3-9. Carolina looked like they would come away with the win after a late touchdown in the fourth quarter, but quarterback Baker Mayfield led his team into field goal range to set up overtime and eventually kick the game-winning field goal. Following the game, two players from each team got into an altercation in the locker room area.

Season Over For Carolina?
The Panthers, who have been looking like a much better team recently, will likely be officially out of playoff contention because of the loss, and the Buccaneers are now tied for first place in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the outcome, it looks like Carolina has a bright future ahead of them going into next season.
