Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t exactly have a blazing start to his NFL career in the 2024 season. So a fresh start in the upcoming 2025 NFL campaign brings hope for him to finally unleash his potential in the pros and show that the Cardinals surely got it right when they took him fourth overall in the 2024 NFL draft.
As part of his mission to have a big sophomore year in the league, the former Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver said that he’s beefed up in the offseason.
Via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk:
“I definitely put on some pounds,” Harrison said. “I think I added some muscle to my body a little bit. Still just trying to see how my body feels throughout OTAs . . . Kind of get that specific weight to settle in for training camp and go from there.”
Will Year 2 be a big one for Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison?

In his first NFL season, Harrison failed to clear the 1,000-yard mark, as he finished with 885 receiving yards but scored eight touchdowns on 62 receptions.
While his total receiving yards and touchdowns weren’t too shabby, he could have done so much more damage downfield on opponents if he had been better at securing passes. His 62 catches came from 116 targets, while also recording just a 50 percent receiving success rate.
Still considered a top target in the Cardinals’ passing game, expect Harrison to continue enjoying a heavy volume of passes from quarterback Kyler Murray.
