Earlier this month, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was arrested on August 3 for exceeding 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. According to multiple outlets, he was traveling at 126 mph. Of course, his head coach, Kliff Kingsbury, wasn’t happy that Brown was arrested.
“Obviously, he knows he’s got to be better than that,” the Arizona head coach said, “and he will be moving forward.”

Brown addressed the media for the first time since the incident
On Wednesday afternoon, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown spoke about the arrest and that it was a mistake from which he wants to learn and commit to moving forward, according to TMZ.
“I want to learn from it,” Brown said. “I’m not a guy who gets into trouble, so I want to put in my past and make sure I’m always doing the right things at all times.”
“I have a lot of kids that look up to me, so I want to set the right example at all times,” Brown said.
Brown, along with a third-round pick, was acquired by the Cardinals this offseason from the Baltimore Ravens. In exchange, the Cardinals sent back the 23rd overall pick in this year’s draft, and the Ravens were able to gain a fourth-round pick in a separate deal with the Buffalo Bills to move back two spots in the first round.

On Wednesday, Brown revealed that he didn’t have a problem with the Ravens, but needed to play somewhere else.
“It’s about happiness,” Brown said, via Darren Urban of the team website. “I want to feel like I am a part of something to win. At the Ravens, I just felt like sometimes they really didn’t need me. Regardless if I was there or not, they were going to win games.
“I love the game too much. I want to be involved.”
