Over the weekend, the Cleveland Browns announced that quarterback Kenny Pickett will be missing sometime with a hamstring injury. Pickett and rookie Dillon Gabriel were getting reps with the first team during training camp last week.

As another week of training camp will take place for the Browns, many people are wondering when Shedeur Sanders will finally get first team reps after the latest Pickett injury news. Sanders has not received any first team reps yet at any point during the offseason programs or training camp as well. Is it time for the Browns to give him first team reps in training camp?
NFL Analyst Thinks It Is Time For the Cleveland Browns To Give Shedeur Sanders First Team Reps

It is not going to be a surprise when Gabriel and Joe Flacco get first team reps in Browns camp with the Pickett injury, but some NFL analysts are wondering if Sanders will get first-team reps. TheRealTRizzo was on ESPN Cleveland on Monday morning talking about how it is time for Sanders to get first-team reps in training camp. He said,
“Can we watch Shedeur Sanders against the 1st team,?”
There are many Browns fans and other NFL fans that are asking themselves the same question. Will this finally be the chance that Sanders gets first team reps? Well, it remains to be seen if it happens. If Sanders does not get first-team reps at all with Pickett sidelined, then the Browns coaching staff is not as high on him as the outside thinks they do.
It could potentially be organizational malpractice for Cleveland if they don’t give him the reps. However, if they do give him the reps, many fans will be happy to see that, and it could add an interesting twist to this four-man race if he does well with the first-team.
