The Denver Broncos have a 9-2 record this season and they are currently in first place in the AFC West. Denver’s defense has been elite all season long.

The Broncos have not won the AFC West title since the 2015 season and that was also the same year that they won the Super Bowl. Denver has a very familiar style team to the one that won the Super Bowl a decade ago. The question will not be about the defense. The question is going to be about the offense and quarterback Bo Nix for the rest of the season.
NFL Analyst Questions Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix For the Remainder Of the 2025 NFL Season

When Denver had an elite defense 10 years ago, there were questions about either if Brock Osweiler or Peyton Manning would play well enough to lead this team to a Super Bowl title and they did. Well, the same question is being asked 10 years later about the Broncos. Can Nix lead this team to a Super Bowl title?
Chad Graff and Josh Kendall of the Athletic have Denver ranked number two in their power rankings this week, but they have major questions about Nix being able to lead this team to a Super Bowl. They both said,
“This is a simple one, but it’s vital when considering whether this team can actually win a Super Bowl. No one is going to have any gripes with the Broncos’ incredible defense. Because of that, Denver doesn’t need a ton from the offense. But can Nix do enough to get them over the hump?”
This season, he has completed 61.2% of his passes for 2,421 yards, 18 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Nix has also rushed for 213 yards on 50 carries and three touchdowns, along with averaging 4.3 yards per reception. Denver will next play against the Washington Commanders (3-8 record) on the road on Sunday night football. They need to win this game in order to keep pace of the New England Patriots (10-2 record) for the number one seed in the AFC.
