Cam Ward, newly drafted quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, has definitely proven that he is full of potential and promise way before he was bagged as no.1 pick in the draft. Despite being the no. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft, Ward has never managed to make it to the news as much as his other draft counterparts like Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter. This is apparently what many like in Ward – his quiet resilience and performance.
Former NFL safety Louis Riddick recently opened up on his opinions on Cam Ward in his appearance on ‘BPA: The NFL draft show’ by Athlon Sports. Riddick managed to do a thorough comparison between Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, remarking that if the former had a stronger ability to market himself, no other football player would have had a chance.
“This is not a knock against Shedeur because look, I’m close with Deion. I like Shedeur a ton and all, but let’s just put it this way. Had Cam had that kind of marketing power behind him, it would’ve been lights out. If you’ve ever sat with him, or even just watched his interviews, Cam is not a guy who is a self-promoter. He’s got plenty of charisma, but he’s not the ‘showbiz’ type dude. He’s a baller, period.” Louis Riddick spoke about Cam Ward in his latest appearance on ‘BPA: The NFL draft show’.
Cam Ward will soon be playing his very first season as quarterback for the Tennessee Titans in a Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Titans fans are hoping that Ward’s entry will start a new, prosperous chapter for the Titans, who haven’t had much luck in the last couple of seasons.
Cam Ward’s Name Tattooed On By Hardcore Fan
In other news, Cam Ward seems to have already gathered a bunch of hardcore fans. Mitchell Firkins seems to be one of them and shared a picture on his X account with Cam Ward’s name inked on his body. Firkins chose to replace the ‘A’ in Cam with a ‘face with hand over mouth’ emoji and a ‘hand pointing forward’ emoji for the ‘A’ in Ward.
Unfortunately, the comments section was mostly filled with hateful statements that mocked the design. One user also went on to call the tattoo the worst design of all time. However, it does not look like the fan is done yet and hopes to get a tattoo of Cam Ward’s signature soon.
