Former NFL MVP Cam Newton shared his honest thoughts on the ongoing beef between wide receiver Stefon Diggs and rapper Offset, particularly over artist Cardi B.
In one of his new videos, Cam Newton gave his honest comment on the tense situation between Diggs and Offset, particularly the fact that Diggs is in a relationship with Cardi B, who is the estranged wife of the rapper.
“Offset switches his grade or paper with, you know what I’m saying, Stefon,” Newton said. “Stefon switches his paper. Like—it’s now the real Cam comes to the mic and says, ‘Y’all ain’t doing nothing but passing Scantrons and grading each other’s paper.’”
Newton added that the entire beef around the Diggs and Offset has been getting more and more “sloppy.”
“You competing,” he added. “But y’all just switching girlfriends. It’s like, what is this? What are we doing? So I get it. Do I approve of it? Part of me is like, yeah, because I see what Offset is trying to do. He’s like, “Yo, I gotta fight. Y’all ain’t gonna keep playing with me. I gotta make a monumental move.”

The cold war between Stefon Diggs of the NFL and Offset the rapper seems to be a romantic rivalry more than beef, but it is undoubtedly enough to be getting headlines. The whole thing started when Diggs began dating Cardi B, Offset’s estranged wife. The two publicly made appearances, like a yacht party recently, so who knows what Offset thinks about this entire situation, considering he has been trying to get Cardi back.
Cam Newton Shares Advice on Personal Branding to NFL Players
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton took the spotlight this week at the league’s annual Player Personal Branding and Social Workshop, reminding rising stars that football should be “a tool, not as oxygen.” In a packed room at YouTube’s Playa Vista campus, Newton urged athletes to leverage their on‑field success as the foundation for lasting careers beyond the gridiron.
“Use [football] as a tool, not as oxygen,” Newton told young NFL players during a breakout session. “It’s cool, but once you’ve leveraged your access and leveraged who you are, that can pay you dividends for years to come.”

Newton also advised players in turning locker‑room access and highlight reels into real business opportunities, exploring entrepreneurship, forging strategic partnerships, and sharpening their social media presence.

Now in its sixth year and co‑created by Larry Fitzgerald, the two‑day workshop Cam Newton participated in has become a rite of passage for the NFL’s up‑and‑comers. Young talents like Juwan Johnson and Rome Odunze left with notebooks full of ideas, proof that today’s players aren’t just preparing for touchdowns, they’re sketching out their legacies, too.
