Former NFL MVP and sports analyst Cam Newton recently got honest about his feelings about the dynamic between Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson and rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who recently confirmed that they are dating.

In a recent episode of his “4th & 1” podcast, Cam Newton gave his take on the recently confirmed relationship between Kaly Thompson and Negan Thee Stallion. He boldly predicted that the pair would not last long.
“They’ll make it to December,” Newton said about the celebrity and sports couple. “But they say hot girl summer’s going to have you with a cold girl winter. That’s cool, but that bed going to get cold in the winter, home boy, you better find you somebody to snuggle up with.”
The relationship between Thompson and rapper Megan Thee Stallion has stirred controversy due to its unexpected nature and the cultural clash it represents for some fans. Critics have argued that the pairing of an NBA star known for his reserved demeanor with a bold, outspoken rapper challenges traditional expectations.

Cam Newton Gives Jalen Hurts a Snub on Personal Top List
Cam Newton gave out his personal top 10 list of NFL quarterbacks, and, to the disappointment of fans, he did not include Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts on his list. In one of the recent episodes of his podcast, Newton offered an explanation for the non-inclusion.
“It’s hard for me to grade Jalen Hurts with the talent that he has around him,” Newton said on his 4th & 1 show. “Jalen Hurts is a great quarterback. But if we’re talking about what they bring to the table holistically, it’s hard to judge what Jalen Hurts can do when you’re throwing to a guy like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith. We have tight end skill sets. You have a dominant defense, the best running back in the game.”

Former Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith caught wind of Newton’s take on the matter and clapped back with his own words.
“Jalen is the only QB that gets punished because he has a competent GM,” he said. “Jalen does his job with what he has. Every other GM is trying to put their QB in the same situation as Jalen Hurts. Superhero ball is overrated.”

According to a poll of executives, coaches, and scouts undertaken by ESPN that ranked NFL quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts was rated by survey respondents as the No. 9 quarterback in the NFL.
Despite the impressive resume, Cam Newton still did not see Hurts worthy of being on his personal top 10 list of quarterbacks.
