Cam Newton, former NFL quarterback, did not hesitate to criticize Fox Sports after the production company axed a number of shows all of a sudden, including Joy Taylor’s ‘Speak’. According to Newton, the TV house simply did not focus on innovation and instead continued their old ways of presenting sports shows to the public.

A few days back, Newton compared Fox Sports and ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on his ‘4th & 1’ podcast, calling the latter a “production at a high level”. Pat McAfee’s show, despite not being a big TV production house, has already garnered much critical acclaim for not only useful sports insights, but also bringing in high-profile guests and co-hosts.
“This is production at a high level, ladies and gentlemen. Investing. The same cameras that ESPN is using — we using. The same cameras that the facility was using — we using. Fox Sports. Colin Cowherd. They using — we using.” Cam Newton spoke about Fox Sports on his ‘4th & 1’ podcast last Thursday.
Cam Newton is of course not the only one who has expressed frustration at Fox Sports’ sudden cancellation of several shows, including ‘The Herd with Colin Cowher’ and ‘First Things First’ with Nick Wright. After the production house put out a statement regarding the cancellation of the shows, social media has been filled with negative comments by users who feel cheated by Fox Sports. Fox Sports has also not announced what shows will be replacing the empty time slots.

Cam Newton’s Top 10 QB List Does Not Have Jalen Hurts On It
Meanwhile, Cam Newton made many Philadelphia Eagles fans angry when he recently released his very own top 10 NFL quarterbacks list. While several top quarterbacks like Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen did make the list, Jalen Hurts who won the Super Bowl LIX for the Eagles back in February was glaringly omitted.
“Jalen Hurts is a great quarterback, but if we’re talking about what they bring to the table, it’s hard to judge what Jalen Hurts can do when you’re throwing to a guy like AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, you have tight end skillset, you have a dominant defense, the best running back in the game.” Cam Newton said about omitting Jalen Hurts in his list.

According to Newton, Hurts’ success has come by only because the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles roster is so strong. As a result, Hurts does not have to play “elite”; he has only has to play “good” for the team to win.
