While playing Madden as himself, he joked that video game highlights were his only football bright spots. Brown refused to apologize for speaking his mind. He told viewers that if you have eyes, you can see the problem.

Cam Newton defended Brown during Friday’s episode of First Take. The former Carolina Panthers signal-caller said the receiver was speaking the truth about Philadelphia’s offensive struggles.
“When you have a record-breaking, record-setting running back, a lot of things that are raising flags, like ‘We’re able to cover this up because we’re winning,” Newton said. “So now, when you have a person to speak truth, he’s just setting the record straight.”

Newton pointed out that defense has been doing most of the heavy lifting this season. Then he dropped the bombshell, adding, “The Philadelphia Eagles is a walking ticking time bomb of dysfunction. It’s all in their resume. The Philadelphia Eagles have been masking, putting mascara, putting makeup so much because they have been winning.”
