The Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants are in the hunt to try and land Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback in 2025. Rodgers has stubbornly decided to wait to choose his destination for the upcoming season.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network suggested on Monday that Rodgers could wait to make his decision until the week of the 2025 NFL Draft. Rodgers isn’t in a hurry, and the four-time NFL MVP doesn’t need to be.
Pittsburgh Steelers star won’t recruit Aaron Rodgers

Five-time All-Pro Cam Heyward isn’t going to push Rodgers or the Steelers front office too hard for the veteran quarterback. During an appearance on the Not Just Football podcast, star defensive tackle said he wouldn’t recruit Rodgers. Either Rodgers wants to be in Pittsburgh or he doesn’t.
“I ain’t doing the darkness retreat,” Heyward said. “I don’t mean any of that crap. Like, either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don’t. That’s simple, that’s the pitch. Like, if you want me to recruit, that’s the recruitment pitch. Pittsburgh Steelers. If you want to be part of it, so be it. If you don’t–no skin off my back.”
Cam Heyward’s best shot at a Super Bowl might be with Rodgers

Heyward has been with the Steelers since they drafted him with the No. 31 pick in 2011. He was drafted to Pittsburgh months after Rodgers defeated the Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV.
Neither the Steelers nor Rodgers has returned to the Super Bowl since.
Rodgers would certainly be Heyward’s best shot to win a championship with Pittsburgh this season–if he fits the culture in the locker room.
