Caleb Williams, starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears, was recently lavished with praise by none other than his own backup quarterback, Case Keenum. Keenum spoke to the Chicago Sun Times lately and discussed why he thought Williams was, in fact, a very talented quarterback. According to Keenum, it all boils down to possessing the ball at crucial times, and Williams has plenty of this skill.

With head coach Ben Johnson working hard on him this offseason, it looks like Caleb Williams is definitely not the same rookie quarterback he was in the previous NFL season. Not just Keenum, but numerous other players and analysts have said the same, and one can surely expect the starting quarterback to put up a better show in the upcoming season.
“The majority of games in this league come down to one possession. The great ones, they want the ball in their hand, and you can tell Caleb wants the ball in his hand in those moments. Two-minute is a drill where you can rely on guts and instincts, your past training and . . . the fire of competition and who’s a competitor. There’s certain guys, when the lights turn on, that switch just flips. And he’s got that switch where he can turn it on. And I can’t wait to watch it at Soldier Field and all over the league this year.” Case Keenum spoke about Caleb Williams as reported by the Chicago Sun Times.

Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears definitely struggled quite a bit in the 2024 NFL season and have made many outstanding improvements over the offseason to ensure that they do better in the 2025 campaign.
Caleb Williams Still Has Plenty Of Work To Do
While Caleb Williams is definitely an outstanding player, the quarterback also has a number of areas to work on, according to a recent video of him at training camp. The video clip which was recorded over the weekend, has gone viral and shows Williams missing every shot in an accuracy drill.

While Williams’s missing his targets was definitely disappointing to watch, what was even more saddening to see was the quarterback getting massively frustrated with his poor performance and screaming, “NO!!!!”
The video led to massive trolling in the comments section with numerous fans making fun of the Chicago Bears’ starting quarterback. One social media user summed everyone’s thoughts in one simple phrase – ‘Not even close’.
