Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is set to perform in front of a global audience at the NBA Celebrity 3-Point Contest. He will join a star-studded field under the lights of the Intuit Dome. Williams will compete on Friday night, February 13.

While Williams posted a lighthearted reaction image of Pharrell Williams to celebrate the news, some fans were quick to doubt his multisport proficiency.
“Maybe he should work on his throwing accuracy instead,” one critic wrote, while others focused on his signature style, questioning what color he might paint his nails for the big night.

Eventually, Williams will step onto the court alongside a diverse field, including Richard Jefferson, Jared McCain, and cultural influencer Druski. Despite the pressure of the 9:00 p.m. CST broadcast on NBC, Williams seems focused on the experience rather than the critics.
In the 2025 NFL season, Williams set franchise records with 3,942 passing yards and 27 touchdowns. He led the Bears to their first playoff victory in 15 years, his head coach, Ben Johnson, encouraged the young star to find a “reset” away from the gridiron.
