Caitlin Clark’s recent appearance on the ‘New Heights’ podcast hosted by Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce is gaining plenty of traction online. Clark has discussed several interesting topics, and the episode is peppered with jokes and hilarious comments by the Kelce brothers. Of course, the hosts and the viewers were curious about many of Clark’s likes and favorites.
One of the questions asked was about Caitlin Clark’s favorite NFL player. True to her nature, Clark obviously wanted to play it safe and mentioned that Travis Kelce ‘is up there’. Travis Kelce is currently playing for the Kansas City Chiefs as a tight end.
“But I’m obviously a big Patrick fan too,” Caitlin Clark confessed on ‘New Heights’.

Travis Kelce seemed disappointed at first but quickly recomposed himself since it is a well-known fact that Patrick Mahomes is an incredible football player. With Mahomes leading them, the Kansas City Chiefs are currently ruling the AFC West with 15 wins and only a single defeat this season.
In their most recent matchup on Christmas Day, the Chiefs played against the Pittsburgh Steelers and squashed them with a final score of 29-10. In that game, Mahomes went for 320 yards, completing 29 passes out of 38 attempts and scoring three touchdowns for the team. This NFL season, the 29-year-old QB has completed 3,928 yards, scoring 26 touchdowns and contributing 11 interceptions for the Chiefs.
Caitlin Clark Talks About Immense Support She Receives From Tamika Catchings
In the same podcast episode, Caitlin Clark also spoke at length about the immense support she has received from former Indiana Fever player, Tamika Catchings. Catchings played 15 entire seasons for the Indiana Fever, and is a legend in the Indy locker room. Catchings has mentored and supported Clark in her rookie season with the team.
Clark went on to state that Catchings was one of the first to text her after she got picked by the Indiana Fever team and is still in close touch with her. Furthermore, Clark mentioned that Catchings is definitely one of her idols.
With her stellar record in the WNBA, Catchings is definitely not an idol for only Caitlin Clark, but many others, after she led the Indiana Fever to the championship back in 2012. That was the only time the Fever made it to the championship, and now with Clark leading them, Indiana will hope to repeat this in the upcoming season.
