BYU vs Oregon is another road game for the Cougars. This Saturday they take on the Oregon Ducks in Autzen Stadium. The Cougars are coming off a win against Baylor in 2OT. Oregon is coming off a win against Eastern Washington.

What to expect from the Cougars
The offense had another great showing on Saturday under the lights of Lavell Edwards Stadium. Jaren Hall went 23/39 for 261 yards and one touchdown. He also caught a touchdown from Chase Roberts. The wide receivers had a good game. Chase Roberts came out of nowhere and is ready to do it again if Romney and Nacua can’t go. The running game didn’t shine but they had a task getting past the Baylor line. This week expect a lot of both ground and airplay as the Cougars get passed to Oregon Ducks.
The defense was outstanding. They won the game for the Cougars on Saturday. With also some younger faces leading the way when they played a lot of time. Expect another strong game and hopefully some turnovers this week.
The special teams stepped it up on kickoffs and punts but the field goal game struggled. I hope this was just a one-week thing because a game is won or lost because of a field goal could happen or almost happen again.
What to expect from the Ducks
The offense is led by Bo Nix’s transfer from Auburn. After struggling with Georgia in week one they came back and had a big win against Eastern Washington. Nix threw for 277 yards on 33 attempts and five touchdowns.
The defense only allowed just over 100 yards last week but in Georgia they allowed over 500 yards. Expect a defense that may allow a lot of yards or may not. The more of the passing game will be better for the Cougars not for the Ducks.
