BYU vs Notre Dame
BYU goes to Las Vegas to play Notre Dame in Allegiant Stadium. After not playing Notre Dame for many years, many hoped we would play again before going to a conference. The Cougars are coming off a win against Utah State. The Fighting Irish are coming off a bye week.

What to expect from the Cougars
Jaren Hall and this BYU offense are rolling no matter who plays at wide receiver. With the running game, it’s still a question of who will fully step up and become the true starter. Miles Davis has made his case and that is who I think should be starting. With Gunner Romney back and hopefully Puka Nacua and Chase Roberts, this offense will be hard to stop.
The defense needs to step it up and fix whatever they got going wrong. Whether it’s the coaching staff or its the players or the schemes something needs to change for this team to keep going in the right direction. The line has been down some key players but they should be returning here soon. The cornerbacks have everyone and so do the linebackers.
The field goal kicking is just not happening for BYU right now and it may be time for a different kicker. Head Coach Kalani Sitake doesn’t think so “We still have a lot of belief in Jake. Maybe it’s just that end zone, I have no idea. But we will get it fixed. No one’s harder on himself than he is, so right now he is not happy, but I’m trying to get him to be happy because we won the game. We still believe in his skills. I thought he kicked off well, so we just got to keep on building.”
What to expect from Notre Dame
This offense is led by Drew Pyne. Pyne stepped up after Tyler Buchner went down earlier this season. The offense is still trying to find its feet after four games and is 2-2. They are coming off a bye week and that may have helped them but who knows?
The defense is struggling after allowing 300 yards against North Carolina and allowing almost 400 against Ohio State. This Cougar offense could pass all day long and be just fine.
