What to Expect from the Cougars
The Offense is looking just as bad as the defense. After some controversial calls at the game last Friday. Jaren Hall needs to step it up and be a vocal leader on the sideline as well as on the turf. With Kody Epps out, he will have to trust the other guys and not just bail on them. Boise State will make him pay if he tries to run the ball too often. The line has shown improvements over the season and is only getting better. The running game is still struggling but is headed in the right direction.
The Defense needs major help and now it’s not on the coaching staff to be the only ones stepping their game up. With many of the starters out the backups and third-stringers need to play ball or not step on that field. The line needs to figure out how to stop the run because once that running back gets out they put up too many yards and then they stay on the field and kill the clock. BYU vs Boise State is usually a defensive dominant game and the Cougar defense just can’t play this year.

What to Expect from the Broncos
Taylen Green has been playing lights out for the Broncos at quarterback after Hank Bachmeier announced he was transferring. With him playing this way it’s going to be to stop the Broncos. They don’t run much but they do throw it around a lot so the Cougars need to be on their toes. Also, the Cougars need to keep George Holani behind the line of scrimmage.
The defense isn’t allowing many yards and the less yard BYU puts up in a game the more times they lose. This defense can and will stop Jaren Hall from running the ball. Hall and Roderick need to be creative and throw the ball around all night.
