BYU Football has started spring football to prepare for this upcoming season. The Cougars have been practicing since March 6th and have already had some great days. Read below about events that fans can attend and those for coaches.
The biggest event for fans is on March 31st with the spring game and the alumni game. These two games will be shown on BYU Tv if you can’t attend in person. They will also be hosted at Lavell Edwards Stadium and will be open to the public. The spring scrimmage will showcase this years team and what fans can look forward to this inagural season in the Big 12.
The spring scrimmage will show many new faces to Cougar Nation and will also give them looks at players who were just getting their name out there last year. This will also be a good time to watch the quarterbacks and see what each bring to the table for Cougars this fall.

BYU Alumni Game
The Alumni game is going to be interesting just like last season. Today the Cougars announced the rosters for both the royal and navy teams. Both teams are filled with super stars and will be lead by some great quarterbacks.
The Royal roster will feature Ty Detmer and Max Hall at quarterback. Bronson and Isaiah Kaufusi, the Juergens, James and Tre Dye. This roster is full of play makers who when they suited up for the Cougars made some big plays and also won some big awards.
The Navy roster also star studded. The quarterbacks will be John Beck and Brandon Doman. This roster will feature Pitta, the Collie brothers, Mitch Matthews, Nixon, the Poppinga brothers, Ungam Harline and many more who also had their impact on Cougar Football.

Coaches Clinic
March 23rd will be a clinic hosted by the BYU Coaches for the high school football coaches in this state. This will take place in the Student Athlete Building and will start at 8 am. Go to BYU’s football website for more details. The clinic will be a great oppurtunity for coaches to learn from some great coaches on both sides of the ball.
