    BYU Injury Report

BYU moves into Week 11 with some questions and more to come on who will play in this game as a starter for their position? BYU has some tough players out this week against Utah Tech. There are some seniors and juniors who will be honored who are out as well. All this information comes from various sources and the coaches’ interviews after practice. Both from the BYE Week and this week’s interviews. This week keep an eye out for more information on certain players if they play on Saturday.

    Offense

The offense is going to be without several players on Saturday. Each of these has made an impact on the season and it will get harder for the offense to find their rhythm without them. Can this injury update provide any hope that the offense can still be good with these players out?

    Kody Epps

Kody Epps is out for the remainder of the season after getting hurt in the Liberty Game. Before leaving, the top receiver and the others have done a great job stepping up.

    Chris Brooks

After missing last week with a hamstring injury Coaches say he will get some reps in this game against the Trailblazers. He will play his final home game in this matchup.

    Jackson McChesney

After taking just a few snaps against South Florida he left with an undisclosed season ending injury. He will be honored as one of the seniors but can return for next season.

    Lane Lunt

Announced himself on his social medias that he is done for the season. He is a true senior so he will be honored tomorrow afternoon but will not play.

    Gunner Romney

No update for Romney but looking less likely that he will play again this season. He will also be honored tomorrow but he can return for another season.

    Mason Fakahua

Didn’t play against Boise State so he may or may not play tomorrow depends on what he is dealing with.

    Kingsley Suamataia

Didn’t play against the Broncos but may see him out there tomorrow.

    Miles Davis

Davis is good to go against Utah Tech as he has been dealing with some injuries this season.

    Defense

The defense is taking hits every week and hopefully the bye week next week will help them get some players back. That means that some younger less experienced players will need to step up. The defensive injury update this week is long. Also some big stars may be done for the season.

    Payton Wilgar

Coaches in last weeks interviews for the BYE Week said that he may be done. Wilgar suffered a high ankle sprain against Arkansas. He will be one of the ones honored this weekend.

    Max Tooley

Reports from Coaches are that he may not play another game this season. That would put him and Wilgar out for this defense. Tooley will also be honored ahead of the game.

    D’Angelo Mandell

Mandell has been out since the Wyoming game so he may not be returning this season. He will be honored as he is one of the true seniors on this roster.

    Chaz Ah You

Coaches also reported that he could be done for the season as well after only playing in one game. Ah You will be honored at this game but could return next year.

    Ethan Slade

Slade left the ECU game early and didn’t play against Boise State but no word on him yet.

    Carter Krupp

Krupp also left in the ECU game and didn’t play against the Broncos.

    Malik Moore

Moore is done for the year with a fractured hand. He is one of the juniors to be honored this weekend.
