The Buffalo Bills are off to a very strong start this season taking acre off both of their first two matchups. There is even more reason for optimism this season as Josh Allen has not needed to be Superman in these games to get the job done.
On Thursday night, everything was going well for Allen and the Bills in their demolition of the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo may have a new rising star on their hands in James Cook, and they are looking like a more complete team than they have in recent years in the Allen era.
Allen was having a lot of fun in Thursday’s game and was caught on video with a savage response to a Dolphins player who was chirping at him.
Josh Allen Has Hilarious Response To Trash-Talk
Allen is usually Superman and is the entire offense for the Bills, but this season, it looks like the team has a different mentality. They are now a running football team that wants to hit you in the mouth, and there is no better quarterback for that than Allen.
For some reason, the Dolphins’ linebacker David Long was chirping at Allen, even though they couldn’t compete throughout the entire game. When Allen heard the trash-talk he had the most savage response, especially with how the game was going.
Allen responded by trying to look at the back of Long’s jersey so he could see his name and see who was even talking to him. It does not get more hilariously savage than this:

That move embodies how Allen must feel about the Dolphins team as a whole, as they barely ever get the best of him in his career. Josh is now 11-2 in his 13 games against the Dolphins and he has not lost to them since September of 2022.
Every time it feels like Miami may have an opportunity to overcome their division rival, Allen proves just how far behind Miami is from Buffalo. This may be the year that Allen can get his first MVP as well.
While Buffalo is not the team to beat in the AFC when the Kansas City Chiefs franchise exists, this could be a crucial year for Allen’s career and his legacy. This is the year for him to win the MVP.
The Bills will get a lot of wins this year, and it will highlight the value of Allen as a player. The team lost tons of their veteran talent in the offseason on both sides of the field and they are humming as usual, if not better than usual. If there is any year for Allen to win the MVP this would be it.
While the Bills and Allen have always started strong in September, this year’s team has a very different feel to it. If they can continue to build what they are doing in the run game, and their young defenders continue to ball, it will make life a lot easier for their quarterback. We will have to wait and see if they can continue this new style of play, but they are certain to win their division, and it’s only week 2.
