The Buffalo Bills released a wide receiver
The Buffalo Bills spent most of their free agency fortifying the defense. The Bills also worked to get help for their special teams next season in the former of an All-Pro returner. The Bills haven’t gained much traction for the offense, and they recently released a wide receiver they signed during the 2022 offseason.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Bills released wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie.

McKenzie has been with the Bills since the 2018 season. The Cincinnati Bengals drafted him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. McKenzie recorded 1,316 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns during his time with the Bills. He had a career-high of 423 receiving yards in 2022 to go along with four touchdown receptions.
The Bills signed McKenzie to a two-year $4.4 million contract last offseason. They will incur a $300,000 dead cap hit for 2023 by releasing McKenzie, according to Spotrac. The Bills have about $9 million in cap space remaining for 2023, according to Over The Cap.
