Multiple Buffalo Bills Players Injured During Game Against Tennessee Titans
During Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, three of the Buffalo Bills’ players were escorted off of their home field and never managed to return. All three players faced injuries of different types and severities and many wonder how this will affect the team going forward into Week 8. The three Bills players who faced the injuries were defensive leader Terrel Bernard, linebacker Dorian Williams, and wide receiver Curtis Samuel.
Terrel Bernard left the game twice, first during the second quarter to evaluate a head injury, which had luckily shown no cause for concern, and once again during the third quarter for a more severe ankle injury caused by a member of the opposing team. One of the Titans had accidentally stepped on Bernard’s ankle during the third quarter causing the pain.
Dorian Williams left the game when he messed up his knee pretty badly during the second half, and although it was ruled that he was probable to return, he remained absent for the rest of the game.
With an early injury, Curtis Samuel left the field during the first quarter after suffering a blow to his shoulder. Samuel fell to the ground after a hard hit, causing an intense impact on his shoulder which may have further worsened the injury.

The Bills’ Head Coach Sean McDermott has spoken out about the injuries to his team saying that he was waiting for the players to go through “further evaluation” before deciding to bring them back onto the field. With most wounds, you can’t really tell the severity of them until some time passes. McDermott continued with his statement saying:
“We’ll see how they do. Really no updates at this point. We’ll see how the week transpires with all three of the those guys.”
Fortunately, the initial evaluations of the three players’ injuries showed zero signs that they would have to face long-term absences. Meaning that it may be possible for the three players to return to the field for their next game against the Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully, they all have a full recovery and are able to return to the field alongside the rest of their teammates soon. At the very least, Dorian Williams should be able to make a return this upcoming Sunday.
Von Miller Suspension and Explanation

Additionally, edge rusher Von Miller will be absent again for this week’s game. He is facing a four-game suspension as a result of an incident that occurred in November 2023. The details revolving around the incident have not been reported as of yet, however, there are many rumors swarming. Accusations have been made against Miller accusing him of domestic violence against his girlfriend. These rumors stem from Miller’s arrest in November of 2023 after he turned himself in for third-degree assault of a pregnant woman. Miller has since denied these allegations stating that:
“From the things that have been brought to my attention, everything is false.”
Von Miller will be returning to the field alongside his team, the Buffalo Bills on October 2. This means that he will 100% not be present for their upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks. The game is taking place in Seattle, Washington at 4:05 p.m., and will be available to watch on FOX.
