The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with veteran pass rusher Joey Bosa early in free agency, in hopes of upgrading one of the roster’s glaring weaknesses, exposed late in an AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
After releasing Von Miller prior to the new league year beginning, the Bills agreed to terms with Bosa on a one-year deal worth $12.6 million.
A big bet that Bosa, at age 29, is still capable of delivering big results as a disruptive force along the front seven.

Bosa, shortly after putting pen to paper on his new contract had a clear message for the Bills, and the rest of the league.
“I’m getting old,” Bosa told reporters. “And, I’m ready to win.”
The Los Angeles Chargers released Bosa, after the five-time Pro Bowler produced just five sacks and 22 tackles in 14 games last season.
Since being chosen by the Chargers with the No. 3 overall pick back in 2016, the 6-foot-5 and 280-pound Bosa has logged 72 career sacks, including four double-digit sack campaigns. Buffalo is banking on Bosa having one more dominant and disruptive season left.
