Browns’ Quarterbacks Have Been Pitiful Over the Years

Browns’ Quarterbacks have not been good for the past several years. Baker Mayfield was the most successful QB with the Browns in a long time, and he was traded to the Panthers.

The Browns have had an awful history of quarterbacks, so these are three of the worst quarterbacks the Browns have had in recent memory.

    Kevin Hogan

Kevin Hogan basically showed everyone that a backup QB is a backup for a reason.

In his two years with Cleveland, Hogan had a passing percentage of 54.9 percent. He threw for 621 yards, four touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

He only started in one game, which he lost, and had a QB rating of 61.5.

He was an alright backup, but he was an awful QB for the Browns in total.

    Austin Davis

Now Austin Davis only played with the Browns for one season, but that was enough time to show Cleveland that he wasn’t very good.

Davis started in two games with the Browns after Johnny Manziel was benched for misconduct, where he lost both of them. He did get playing time in another game, where he didn’t do much better. In those games, he went ahead to throw for 547 yards on 59.4 percent. He also tacked on one touchdown and three interceptions.

Austin Davis was not a good quarterback for the Browns, but the last person might’ve been the biggest letdown for Cleveland.

    DeShone Kizer

Some people thought that Kizer was going to be the Browns’ franchise QB. But, DeShone Kizer let down a lot of people.

Kizer was a part of that 0-16 Browns team in 2017, and his performance helped them get there. He started in 15 games, and his stats are looking rough.

In those 15 games, Kizer threw 225 for 476, which totals out to 53.6 percent. He threw for 2,849 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions. His QB rating was 60.5.

Kizer was the biggest letdown for the Browns and one of the worst quarterbacks for the Browns.
