The Cleveland Browns’ 2024 campaign took another brutal hit in week five.  Cleveland went on the road to face the Washington Commanders, but ran into a wall.  Deshaun Watson’s offense was held to 125 passing yards in a 34-13 loss in front of Washington’s home crowd.

However, late in the game Watson was seen doing something that immediately caught fans attention.

Early in the third quarter Cleveland faced a fourth and goal, they were trailing 24-3 at the time.  It appeared Cleveland’s head coach Kevin Stefanski wanted to go for it.  Deshaun Watson wasn’t interested:

Some prominent figures are advocating that the Cleveland Browns bench Deshaun Watson, with Jameis Winston as a possible replacement:

The Browns knew what they were getting in Watson before singing him to that fully -guaranteed contract. They should have to start him for every game for the rest of his contract. They brought that nonsense onto themselves. And it’s incredibly fun to watch him flounder lol
