The Cleveland Browns will likely remain committed to Deshaun Watson through at least 2026. His fully guaranteed five-year contract, worth $230 million, has been heavily criticized since day one. It has been his poor play, injury history, and off-field issues that have defined his time in Cleveland.
So much so that fans will never let him forget.

As previously reported:
There will be a wedding between Deshaun Watson and his longtime girlfriend:
Watson and Jilly Anais got engaged, they announced in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, sharing photos of the beach proposal and Anais’ large diamond ring.
“Mrs. Watson Loading…” the post’s caption says.
The couple has been together since July 2019 after first meeting in Los Angeles.
Anais, 29, is a singer, actress and author of a cookbook.
She remained committed to Watson, 29, after he faced mounting sexual misconduct allegations in 2021 from roughly two dozen massage therapists.
Fans, however, had a different reaction to this news:

An engagement will certainly give Watson some off-the-field motivation as the 2025 season approaches. Will the 29-year-old quarterback be able to turn around his career?
Rumors have been circulating that the Browns are possibly interested in acquiring a veteran quarterback like Kirk Cousins or Russell Wilson. Their No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft also allows them to draft a quarterback.
The time seems to be now or never for Watson to get his career back on track.
