The Denver Broncos are going into their third season with Sean Payton as their head coach. Last year they seem to have found a new franchise quarterback in Bo Nix. Nix lead Denver to a 10-7 record and a playoff berth in his rookie season.
While the future looks bright for Sean Payton, he is currently facing some criticism from the public.
Broncos’ Sean Payton Goes Viral For Posting “Inappropriate” Photo Of Daughter

Social media is awash with a photo and comment from Sean Payton that appears inappropriate:
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton posted a photo of his daughter, sports reporter Meghan Payton, and one of the team’s 2025 NFL Draft picks. Sean Payton shared the photo of his daughter and his team’s draft pick, RJ Harvey. The running back played collegiately at the University of Virginia and UCF.
However, Sean Payton is taking heat on social media for the photo and how he phrased it.
“Sean I know you meant well but this isn’t the app for this,” one fan wrote.
He didn’t hold back, though.
“When your daughter likes your 2nd round pick!!” he wrote.

NFL fans were quick to comment.
“Mr Payton doesn’t understand the state of this app,” one fan wrote.
“Coach this app will NOT see it the same way you see it LOL,” one fan added.
“As a dad, I don’t understand a dad posting this about their daughter,” one fan added.
“This is an unfortunate post,” one fan added.
“Just inappropriate,” one fan added.
“I advise you mute this tweet for your own sanity,” another fan added.
The Denver Broncos head coach probably meant well, but you can’t post something like that and not get flooded with inappropriate comments and memes.
It’s the state of X, formerly known as Twitter, in 2025.
