Just recently, the Denver Broncos met the Cleveland Browns as the former came out on top. After the game, sports analyst Skip Bayless dropped a brutally honest review about the game itself.
In a thrilling matchup, Denver defeated the Browns with a score of 41-32, showcasing a mix of stellar offensive performances and impactful defensive plays. Jameis Winston had a record-setting night, throwing for an impressive 497 yards and four touchdowns. However, his two costly interceptions, including a game-sealing pick-six by Ja’Quan McMillian, ultimately sealed the Browns’ fate. Denver capitalized on these turnovers, returning three interceptions for a total of 171 yards, highlighting their defensive prowess.

Despite Winston’s impressive yardage, he echoed a familiar sentiment from his past, acknowledging the need to improve his decision-making. Winston admitted he got to play better, reminiscent of his 2019 season with Tampa Bay, where he led the league in both passing yards and interceptions. This inconsistency continues to haunt him, even as he delivers phenomenal offensive performances.
On the other side, former Bronco Jerry Jeudy had a standout game against his old team, recording nine receptions for 235 yards and a touchdown. His performance set a new record for the most receiving yards by a player against a former team. Jeudy’s contributions kept the Browns competitive, even as they faced a barrage of defensive challenges from Denver.
Sports Analyst Skip Bayless Gets Real About Denver Broncos-Cleveland Browns Recent Match

While Denver came out as the winner, the match itself wasn’t good, as noted by Bayless. This can be seen in a tweet he shared on his official X account.
“That was a great “bad” Monday Night game,” Bayless tweeted.
Denver, now 8-5, sit in a favorable playoff position, helped by a strong running game and significant contributions from rookie quarterback Bo Nix. He threw for 294 yards, including a spectacular 93-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims Jr., which showcased his deep-ball ability.

With this victory, the Broncos head into their bye week with a solid chance at postseason contention. As they prepare for their next matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, the team will look to build on this momentum and tighten their gameplay for a successful playoff run.
