Brock Purdy’s wife wants to learn her husband’s dance moves after the signal-caller did the ‘dougie’ at the Browns game over the weekend. Purdy got fans cheering wildly when he did the dougie after scoring a touchdown and was even asked by curious reporters later as to what sparked the move.
Apparently, Purdy has always been known to show off a dance move or two, but has been pretty shy about this on the field. Nevertheless, the playmaker decided it was time to reveal this otherwise unknown talent of his during the Browns, much to the delight of his fans.

“I mean, I’ve always been able to Dougie. But I haven’t really just done it publicly. My wife, she could tell you, actually; I annoy her in the kitchen and all that kind of thing, so that’s where I got my practice. But I told the team, ‘If we’re scoring, we’re going to have some fun, and I’m going to hit the Dougie.’ I got an [opportunity] to do it, so I did it.” Brock Purdy said, which eventually got his wife to respond through an Instagram Story post.
“Teach me how to Dougie, Brock Purdy,” Jenna Purdy wrote in her Instagram Story post.
Brock Purdy’s ‘dougie’ not just got a reaction from his wife, but even from his teammates, including George Kittle who was caught by surprise at his QB doing the popular dance. Purdy was reportedly practicing his dance moves throughout the week, and even got pointers from his teammates including Ricky Pearsall to get it perfect.
Brock Purdy Asked Ricky Pearsall For Help For ‘Dougie’
Brock Purdy clearly wants to put his 100% into everything, including his celebratory dance. For his ‘dougie’ celebration against the Browns, Purdy roped in some assistance from Ricky Pearsall throughout the week as he practiced the little dance.

“He definitely got swag. Everybody says he got ‘Brock Purdy aura.’ He was hitting the Dougie…he was practicing the whole week. He was asking for pointers and stuff like that. But I said, ‘You got it, bro. Just do it. Just do it when you score.’” Ricky Pearsall said.
Brock Purdy’s dance also got coach Kyle Shanahan reacting, with the veteran admitting that his star player had told everyone in the team that he was going to do the ‘dougie’ after he scored. This reportedly added pressure on Purdy to not just do the dance, but also score to get that opportunity.
