Brock Purdy’s mother, Carrie Purdy, recently shared a congratulatory post for her son after he became one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL. A couple of days back, the San Francisco 49ers signed a contract extension with their starting quarterback, Purdy, for a whopping sum of $265 million. The deal came after months and months of waiting on Purdy’s side, making the contract even sweeter.
Purdy has been playing for the San Francisco 49ers since 2022 after being selected as the last pick in the seventh round of the NFL draft. After being labeled ‘Mr. Irrelevant’, the 25-year-old quarterback quickly became one of the strongest pillars for the team. Before the 49ers, Purdy played college football for the Iowa State Cyclones.

Brock Purdy and Jenna started dating when they were at Iowa State University. While Purdy was on a football scholarship, Jenna played volleyball. Purdy proposed to Jenna back in 2023 and the pair got married the next year in 2024.

Brock Purdy And 49ers To Take On Seattle Seahawks In Opening Game
Meanwhile, Brock Purdy and the rest of the San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to take on the Seattle Seahawks in the opening game of their season. Before meeting the Seahawks, the 49ers will be warming up with three preseason games against the Denver Broncos, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 49ers will be eager to improve their record from the previous NFL season. Last year, the team finished fourth in the NFC West, after posting six wins and 11 defeats. The 49ers played their very last game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals, losing with a final score of 47-24.
