Social media has taken on a huge presence across the world over the last 10 or so years. As if visibility of professional athletes wasn’t big enough, it has brought that to new levels. Some good, and some bad (cough, AB, cough). One of my favorite series of videos on social media was created by former Vikings Defensive End Brian Robison. For those that have watched it, 96 Questions was great fun and showed sides of players you wouldn’t normally see. After a long hiatus, Robison and 96 Questions is BACK!

Brian Robison the Player
Brian Robison grew up in the small town of Splendora, Texas. At a young age, he picked up the game of football and never looked back. He went on to play college football at the University of Texas, eventually being drafted by the Vikings in the 4th round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Robison played his entire 11 year career with the Vikings amassing 289 tackles, 68 TFL, 60 Sacks, 13 forced fumbles and 8 recoveries. The defensive end played a critical role for the Vikings on and off the field, especially from 2011 to 2016. He was never an All-Pro type player, but his presence on the defense and locker room was immeasurable. Robison was a team player and a fan favorite is entire time in Minnesota.

96 Questions
Brian Robison started the 96 Questions series during the 2016 NFL season. The videos feature him interviewing Vikings players about absurd and funny questions. 96 Questions quickly garnered 5 Million views on YouTube, the series became very well-known throughout the league and many of the videos went viral on social media. Seeing the more light hearted side of the players really helped show the people behind the pads we cheered on every week. One of my favorite episodes featured the topic question as “What guy on the team would you least like to date your sister?”. One former Vikings player was an all too popular choice.
