    Breaking: Sean Payton to Denver

    The Denver Broncos have been looking for a new head coach after releasing Nathaniel Hackett. The New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncs are finalizing a deal to send Payton to Denver. The news regarding Sean Payton was confirmed by ESPN Reporter Adam Schefter.  Sean Payton joins a Denver Broncos team that went 5-12 and failed to make the playoffs.

    The Denver Broncos are sending their first-round pick(number 29) and their 2024 second-round pick to the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans is sending their 2024 third-round pick to Denver.

    Sean Payton Accolades and Coaching Record

    Sean Payton spent 15 years with the New Orleans Saints. Payton won 152 games during his tenure. Sean Payton also guided the Saints to a  Superbowl victory in 2010. New Orleans made the playoffs and won multiple NFC South titles from 2017-2021 under Payton.

    Sean Payton joins a Broncos team that is looking to rebound. Payton will have to fix the Bronco’s offense and help Russell Wilson rebound from a disappointing season.
