Josh Johnson is headed to the locker room after being hit and his head bouncing off the turf. He is out with a concussion. This only adds to the 49er’s quarterback injuries and this puts Christian McCaffery in at quarterback for the 49ers.

Josh Johnson has played for 14 teams in his 15 years as an NFL quarterback this being his first with 49ers and starting the season as the fourth string quarterback. He came in for the injured Brock Purdy who left in the first quarter with an elbow injury and is listed as questionable to return.
