Giants sign Ty Summers to 53, sign Jakob Johnson back to practice squad
Ty Summers was acquired by the New York Giants to be a special teams star, and he has exceeded their expectations so far.
In the first three games, Summers has excelled on special teams after being elevated from the practice squad. A roster spot was awarded to him on Wednesday.
He was signed to the active roster ahead of Week 4’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. As a result, fullback Jakob Johnson returned to the practice squda.
