The Giants and Eagles made final elevations for Saturday
The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will matchup Saturday night for the right to play in the NFC championship game. The Giants and Eagles made their final roster elevations Friday afternoon before the game. Both teams had their fair share of injuries to battle through this week.
The Giants listed outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari as questionable for Saturday. The Eagles ruled out cornerback Avonte Maddox. Interestingly enough, Friday’s elevations didn’t concern either of those positions with their respective team.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Eagles elevated safety Anthony Harris. The Giants elevated cornerback Zyon Gilbert and wide receiver Makai Polk to the active roster for Saturday.

Both teams appear to be stocking up on defenders before the matchup. The two teams could certainly use that for special teams in the playoffs. The Eagles come into the matchup after a tremendous regular season, where they earned the number one overall seed in the NFC. The Giants should feel good about themselves after knocking out the Minnesota Vikings on the road in the Wild Card round.
