The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0 to start the season and they were trailing 7-0 against the Los Angeles Chargers. In the first quarter, Patrick Mahomes threw an interception and Mahomes hit wide receiver Rashee Rice after he was trying to make the tackle on the interception.
Rice had to be carted off the field after he was injured. This is a huge development for the Chiefs because he has played well so far this season.

Rice did not have a catch in the game when he left with the injury. He has caught 24 passes for 288 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 12.0 yards per catch this season.
Need More Travis Kelce
With the Chiefs having Rice out, they will need tight end Travis Kelce to step up moving forward. He has been off to a slow start this season and many fans are concerned about that.
Xavier Worthy, Mecole Hardman, Justin Watson, and JuJu Smith-Schuster will need to also step up with Rice sidelined for now. We will see what other information the Chiefs will release about him and it could be a big deal for them.
