The Bills and Dolphins have been two of the most impressive teams through the first two weeks of the season. The Bills have dominated the Rams and Titans. The Dolphins have beaten the Patriots and the Ravens in epic fashion. Now the two teams square off in week three. Let’s dive into this great matchup.
Keys for the Bills
- Keep letting Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs cook. Through the first two weeks this duo has combined for 20 catches, 270 yards and 4 touchdowns which is absurd. This offense is at it’s best when these two are doing their thing and if the Bills want to win this game that will have to continue.
- The Bills defense has been just as dominant as the offense. They only allowed 10 points against the defending super bowl champion Rams. Then they followed that up by giving up a career low 25 rushing yards to Derrick Henry and 7 points to the Titans. The key for this defense will be for the defensive line to pressure Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. If they can make Tua uncomfortable it will help the secondary slow down star receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Keys for the Dolphins
- Get the ball to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Hill and Waddle had some crazy stat lines against Baltimore last week. Hill had 11 catches for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns and Waddle had 11 catches for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns. In the same game. If they can each put up even half of these numbers this week Buffalo will be in trouble.
- Defensively Miami will have to play better than last week. They gave up many big plays last week and the Ravens and Buffalo is also known for explosive plays. If they can limit big plays and force a couple mistakes from Josh Allen they will be in a good position to win.
Prediction
This will be a very good game. Two elite offenses full of superstars will clash. Ultimately, the Bills will win this game. Their defense is just better than Miami’s which will propel them to a win. Bills win 28-20.
