The Dallas Cowboys make a shocking move Sunday
The Dallas Cowboys received good news earlier this week from defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Quinn announced he’d return to the Cowboys for the 2023 season, as he had unfinished business in Dallas. Another coach has finished their business as a Cowboys coordinator.
According to David Moore with the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have parted ways with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. Head coach Mike McCarthy will call plays for the team next season.

Moore was the play caller of an offense that sputtered against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday night. Quarterback Dak Prescott received much of the blame. However, Moore was criticized for the poor outcome in the final minutes. Owner Jerry Jones was sick after the loss, as he thought the Cowboys should have won the Divisional Round game.
Moore was a head coaching candidate for the Carolina Panthers recently. Many Cowboys fans thought Moore could be a future head coach of the Cowboys, especially during the Jason Garrett era.
