BYU Offensive Lineman Blake Freeland declares for the NFL Draft. After playing four years for the Cougars he is chasing his dreams of playing in the NFL. Freeland joins Jaren Hall, Puka Nacua, Harris LaChance, Payton Wilgar, Lorenzo Fauatea, and Gunner Romney.

Blake Freeland junior offensive lineman 6’8 305 lbs. Played in 44 games and started in 41 of those he played in. A three-year starter for the BYU offensive line and a leader for the Cougar offense.
In 2019 started the final seven games for BYU at right tackle and was ranked 12 by Pro Football Focus amongst Offensive Lineman. The 2020 Covid season he played in 11 games, ranking as a line eighth in allowing fewest sacks and seven in total offense.
2021 he played in all 13 games at left tackle. One of three offensive player and six players overall to start every game. Allowed just 15 sacks as a unit in that season also named to many high ranking lists for offensive players. His final year as a Cougar he played in 13 games only two other players did that this year. Named third team AP All-American, Independent Offensive line, and All Independent first team.
