Ohio State is ready for the 2024 season, and after the offseason they just had, they will be the first or second-ranked team in the preseason AP Top 25. The program got some important news on Sunday that has nothing to do with the 2024 campaign but will excite fans in the future.
Ohio State Lands Jake Cook

According to Hayes Fawcett from On3.com, offensive lineman Jake Cook has committed to Ohio State. He chose the Buckeyes over Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and NC State.

Cook is from Westerville, Ohio, and is a three-star recruit, according to On3.com. Cook decommited from Louisville earlier this week, and now we know why he didn’t want to continue his commitment with the Cardinals.
This news happened right after their biggest rival, Michigan, landed one of the best running backs in the 2025 class in Donovan Johnson, and now the Buckeyes got to counter that by getting a star offensive lineman.
Ohio State fans took to social media to react to Cook landing with the Buckeyes, and here were some of their reactions.
