The Bills swapped wide receivers for the practice squad
The Buffalo Bills cut a wide receiver ahead of their Divisional Round matchup. The Bills made some moves to their practice squad roster before their first practice Wednesday to prepare for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Bills had already made some roster moves with the receiver corps this postseason when they signed Cole Beasley to the 53-man roster.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Bills signed defensive tackle Cortez Broughton and wide receiver Dezmon Patton to the practice squad. To make room for those additions, the Bills released Tanner Gentry and linebacker Joe Giles-Harris from the practice squad.

Gentry didn’t have anything to show for the Bills’ offensive stat sheet for his 20 snaps in three games.
Patton has two receptions for 24 yards with the Indianapolis Colts this season. Patton was cut from the Colts’ 53-man roster in October. It’ll be interesting to see if he gets elevated for the Bills in the playoffs.
