Andy Reid gives injury updates Tuesday
Andy Reid held his press conference Tuesday before the Kansas City Chiefs held their first practice for their Divisional Round game. The Chiefs practiced Tuesday, as their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars will be held on Saturday. Reid had updated on a few critical Chiefs injuries.
According to Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride, Reid said wide receiver Mecole Hardman would not practice Tuesday. Hardman has not been responding well to certain physical activities.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that WR Mecole Hardman is the only member of the team who will not practice Tuesday. Reid said that Hardman has been "pushing it hard" but his issue has not been responding well. KC will back off.

Hardman has a pelvis injury. The update is not good for Hardman’s availability against the Jaguars.
Reid’s other two updates were positive. According to Sweeney, Reid said running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and tight end Jody Fortson would participate in practice Tuesday.
Andy Reid added that both RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire and TE Jody Fortson would work on Tuesday. https://t.co/ezzTUNrmhC

The Chiefs need those two to play if Hardman can’t go Saturday. Hardman has caught four touchdowns for the Chiefs this season. It would be preferable for him to rest up and then possibly have a chance to play in the AFC Championship the next week, should the Chiefs defeat the Jaguars.
