Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy Nix, spent some serious downtime with her girlfriends over the weekend. The former Auburn University cheerleader shared a picture of her and her friends in an Instagram story.

Bo Nix and Izzy Nix have been together ever since their college days at Auburn University. While Bo Nix played quarterback for the Auburn Tigers, Izzy was a cheerleader. After dating for some time, the talented quarterback eventually proposed to his long-time girlfriend at Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2021. The couple got married the very next year.

“Sweetest weekend with my girls,” Izzy Nix captioned her Instagram story, showing off her fun weekend.

Meanwhile, Bo Nix will be training with the Denver Broncos soon for their offseason program, in preparation for the upcoming NFL season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Broncos finished third in the AFC West after winning ten games and losing seven. Denver made it to the Wild Card Round and played against the Buffalo Bills, but lost with an embarrassing 31-7 final score.

The 25-year-old quarterback has been playing with the Denver Broncos since 2024, after the team selected him as the 12th pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. Before stepping foot into the league, Bo Nix played college football for the Auburn Tigers from 2019 to 2021 and then for the Oregon Ducks from 2022 to 2023.

Bo Nix Has A Solid Fan In Evan Engram

Bo Nix is already being called the quarterback of the NFL’s future, having spent just one season in the league. Veteran tight end, Evan Engram, also recently stated that he strongly believes in Nix’s prowess. In fact, Nix was the main deciding factor for Engram to join the Denver Broncos in the last season.

In an interview, Engram went on to praise Bo Nix’s cool and calm nature, especially during crucial moments. Engram called Bo Nix a ‘true weapon’ and admitted that the young quarterback has ‘everything that it takes to be great in this league’.

In his rookie season with the Denver Broncos, Bo Nix managed to throw for a total of 3,775 yards, scoring 29 touchdowns, while managing 12 interceptions. The Broncos will hope that Bo Nix’s performance will improve their record in the upcoming season. While Nix led the team in passing last year, the Denver Broncos also leaned on Javonte Williams to lead them in rushing, while Brandon Jones took care of business in the tackles department.
