    BlackOut Uniforms are Back for BYU Football

    BYU Blackout Uniforms for the Notre Dame Game Mitch Harper Deseret News

    BYU Football announced Monday morning that the Blackouts are back to add to their uniform tracker for the 2022 season. With a sick helmet that is a royal to black gradient. They will be used this weekend against Notre Dame under the lights in Las Vegas. Another week another uniform combination to keep the Cougars looking fresh.

    This will add another uniform to the count for the 2022 season of the sixth different uniform combination.

    2022 Uniform Tracker

    South Florida

    The season opener the Cougars wore the White with Navy trim against South Florida. With a 14-10 record the Cougars love this uniform to be seen at least once a year.

    Baylor

    In the home opener they wore the Royal Color Rush. The Royal Color Rush uniform was worn that night for the first time with a helmet with a chrome finish. I want to continue to see this one under the lights of a college football game.

    Oregon

    In the lose to Oregon they wore the Royal Sitake. This uniform is white with a royal trim. Now at 1-1 after making its debut its debut last season.

    Wyoming

    The Wyoming game it was all navy with white helmets. It has a 3-0 record after not being worn much because lately we have seen way more royal in the uniform combination.

    Utah State

    Against the Aggies the Cougars wore the Royal with white trim, royal helmet also a royal facemask this time. This one also made its debut this season.
