The Buffalo Bills are going through yet another off-season in which the team felt like they should have achieved more the previous season. In fact, any season where Josh Allen is under center feels like a “super bowl or bust” season for Buffalo.
While 2025 is no different, there’s one star player who may not get his chance to help the team.
Bills’ Young Star Sees Career Hault After Sexual Assault Allegations

A potential career threat may be looming for Maxwell Hairston:
The Buffalo Bills’ first-round pick is accused of sexual assault in a civil lawsuit filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
The alleged incident occurred in 2021, while Hairston was a freshman at the University of Kentucky. The lawsuit details an encounter with Rebecca Hendryx.
Bryant Law Center and Meyers & Flowers filed the lawsuit Tuesday after a woman said she was sexually assaulted by the former student-athlete at the University of Kentucky.
The lawsuit states that Hairston engaged in non-consensual sexual contact with the woman in her on-campus dorm room back in 2021.
“During the interaction, Defendant made Plaintiff feel uncomfortable when he attempted to isolate her in his bedroom and, therefore Plaintiff left Defendant’s dorm room.”

A law firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by the Buffalo Bills’ first-round draft pick.
The team is said to be handling the situation internally for now, per WYRK.
