“Hard Knocks” Decision Is Clear Shot At Bill Belichick After Jordon Hudson Cost UNC The Opportunity

It is no secret that Bill Belichick’s UNC Tar Heels lost their chance at appearing on the infamous TV Show “Hard Knocks.”  The opportunity would have been massive for the University financially, and many are blaming Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson on the reason they opted to go elsewhere.

However, the new team they landed on feels like a shot directly at the legendary NFL Head Coach.

After swinging and missing on Bill Belichick’s North Carolina Tar Heels, the NFL is trying something new with its “Hard Knocks” show:

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Buffalo Bills will be the team featured on “Hard Knocks” this summer. The show will showcase the team’s training camp all the way through the end of the preseason.

As for the in-season edition, which now features an entire NFL division throughout the season, the NFC East has been selected as the featured division.

“The #Bills will be on Hard Knocks this summer, and the NFC East will be on the in-season edition, Roger Goodell says,” Pelissero wrote.

Usually Hard Knocks showcases teams that are struggling, down on their luck or average at best. But by signing on the Bills, the NFL will get an inside look at one of the most successful franchises of the last five years. The Bills have a stacked roster with reigning MVP quarterback Josh Allen at the center of the team.

As for the NFC East being added, that’s a real treat. We get the reigning Super Bowl champions in the Philadelphia Eagles, one of the ascendant teams with the Washington Commanders and the always-interesting Dallas Cowboys.

But we also get the New York Giants, the team featured last year, and NFL fans are not looking forward to that:

“The NFL is going to keep abusing the Giants until John Mara finally starts acting like the son of one of the most powerful owners in league history or until Steve Tisch finally sells his half of the team to someone who actually cares about winning,” one Giants fan remarked.

“No, not the Giants on Hard Knocks again, not after last time,” another Giants fan wrote.

“Mara has to be losing his mind,” a third said.

Whether you actively watch Hard Knocks or skip it, there’s always some interesting clips and soundbites that we can enjoy throughout the season.

With a mix of the Bills, Eagles, Commanders, Cowboys and Giants, there’s no limit to what kind of fun we’ll get.

The fact that Hard Knocks went with one of Belichick’s long time NFL rivals directly after pulling out of covering his own team feels like a direct shot.  Perhaps the future Hall of Fame head coach will reconsider his life choices in the near future.
