Super Bowl Favorites, the Buffalo Bills, were informed of a major loss to their defensive backfield on Saturday. Safety Micah Hyde will miss the rest of the 2022-2023 season with a neck injury according to his agent, Jack Betcha. The Bills placed Micah on IR Saturday.
#Bills S Micah Hyde will be put on IR today due to his recent neck injury and is out for 2022, per agent @jackbechta. The hope is for a full return from the herniated disc in 2023.

Safety Jaquan Johnson is expected to fill in for Hyde on Sunday when the Bills travel to the Miami. The Bills other starting safety, Jordan Poyer, is also questionable for Sunday’s game with a foot injury.
Sean appeared visibly frustrated Friday when asked about the Bills injury concerns,“Both (Hyde and Dane Jackson) seem to be moving around and walking around or in the building here,” McDermott reiterated on Friday, “and they’re in there going about their business trying to improve each and every day. Obviously not going to make this game. Other than that, I don’t have anything else for you at this point.”
During Hyde’s time with Buffalo he has recorded 363 tackles, 14 interceptions, including one pick six, and 35 passes deflected. Hyde and Johnson are one of the best safety duo’s in the NFL. The Bills will be down 4 defensive starters Sunday when they play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Despite the injury concerns the Bills still remain the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite, but their task of bringing the Lombardi to Buffalo just became more difficult.
