College Football conference games are in full effect. The race to the Playoff is underway and this week there are three ranked vs ranked matchups. Let’s take a look at those three matchups.

    #17 TCU @ #19 Kansas

I cannot believe I am typing “#19 Kansas” for a college football article, but here we are. Kansas has taken the league by storm this season starting 5-0. Everyone wanted to hold the breaks on hyping them up until the massive win in the Big 12 last week beating Iowa State. Although this week will be their toughest test.

TCU stomped Oklahoma last week 55-24. TCU QB had himself a day throwing for 302 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

If Kansas can pull off this win vs the frisky Horned Frogs, they could be on Big 12 title talk.

    #8 Tennessee @ #25 LSU

After the first week of the season LSU was already facing critics. Since then they have rattled off four straight wins and now have a huge home test vs a top 10 team in the country.

Last week LSU went on the road to beat Auburn and threw for only 80 yards. They will have to be way better than that in the pass game to keep up with this potent Tennessee offense.

This Tennessee offense with Hendon Hooker at the helm is lethal. The lowest total they have scored this season was 34 points, and even that is considered low scoring for the Volunteers. Tennessee has been tested so far this season while LSU has not faced a ranked opponent. This could be a statement game for LSU or could show that they still have strides to make.

    #11 Utah @ #18 UCLA

This game could be the deciding factor of which of these two teams makes the PAC-12 championship game. Utah came in with high expectations after making the Rose Bowl last season. Since their stunning week 1 loss to Florida, the Utes have settled in winning four in a row.

This game will start and end with quarterback play. Cam Rising for Utah and the electrifying Dorian Thompson-Robinson for UCLA.

UCLA last week was able to come up with a monumental win vs #15 Washington where Robinson threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns. Look for the star quarterbacks to steal the show in this matchup.
