The Cincinnati Bengals’ disastrous start to the 2024 season continued Monday Night in the form of a 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. The loss dropped Cincinnati to an 0-3 record to start the year.
Star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had a tumultuous off-season with the organization as they failed to get a long-term extension done. Following the Monday Night Football loss, Chase made an admission to the media.

In the locker room, Ja’Marr Chase was asked what he thinks about Washington Commander’s Quarterback Jayden Daniels:

Midway through the third quarter, Daniels, the second overall pick in the 2024 draft, had led the Commanders down the field for four consecutive touchdowns on each of their first four full drives.
This win proved the dual threat ability of the former Heisman winner from LSU in front of a national audience. He accounted for three total touchdowns (two through the air, one on the ground). He also completed 21 of his 23 pass attempts for 254 yards and added 39 more yards on the ground.
